Vaginal rejuvenation

Vaginal Relaxation Syndrome is defined as an increase in the internal diameter of the vaginal wall. This can lead to decreased intercourse and sexual frustration for the woman and her partner. The reason for this most often is natural childbirth (especially after the second and subsequent), congenital weakness of connective tissue with advancing age and others.

Modern innovations in medicine and the drive towards increasingly non-invasive procedures have given doctors a valuable weapon – non-surgical laser treatment for vaginal tightening. Laser treatments for vaginal rejuvenation are becoming established as an affordable, non-surgical treatment method.

The Esteline Clinic offers the latest non-operative Er:Yag laser therapy for the treatment of IntimaLase® vaginal relaxation syndrome from the leading medical laser manufacturer Fotona.

The laser has a thermo-stimulating effect on the collagen of the vaginal walls, leading to restructuring and stimulation of new connective tissue synthesis. This leads to a tightening of the vaginal canal and, as a result, greater sexual satisfaction.

Treatment is short and usually involves 3 sessions over 30 days.

IMPORTANT

IntimaLase® does not use laser energy to damage tissue, so there is no recovery period, and sexual activity can resume a week after.

Esteline Dermatology Clinic works with the high-quality equipment of the leading manufacturer of lasers in the field of dermatology and aesthetics Fotona®.

The therapy proceeds in two steps. After taking the necessary tests and measurements, the doctor places a sterile, glass speculum that limits the contact of the vagina with the laser tip. In the speculum, the laser is inserted, with which the mucous membrane of the vagina is treated along the entire length, two or three times. No pain or burning is felt during the procedure, it is possible that a slightly stronger burning sensation may be felt during the treatment towards the entrance of the vagina, which lasts for seconds. At the end of the therapy, a numbing gel is applied to the entrance of the vagina, labia minora and urethra, after which the area is treated with a laser. A slight burning sensation may be felt.

The duration of the procedure is between 30 and 40 minutes.

Therapy Intimalase is made after the necessary examinations – pap smear and gynecological examination. . It is contraindicated in vaginal infection, positive PAP result, menstruation, pregnancy. It is poorly effective in obesity with BMI >40, and severe prolapse,
After Intimalase therapy, increased vaginal discharge is possible 2-3 days after the procedure, rare, slight bleeding.

The effect is noticeable after the first treatment. After 2 or 3 treatments, the results last up to 18 – 24 months.

Recovery is extremely fast, without the need for analgesics and antibiotics. No special care is needed after the procedure. Abstinence from sexual intercourse is necessary for up to a week after the procedure. Avoid inserting tampons for 4 weeks after therapy. Heavy physical effort is not recommended for at least 2 weeks after therapy.

Usually at least two treatments are recommended Satisfaction after therapy is over 97%. On average, the vagina narrows by 17%. Procedures are done once a month.
