Skinbooster is a procedure for qualitative improvement and deep hydration of the skin with hyaluronic acid. Unlike most dermal fillers, which are formulated to achieve natural volume and contouring, the consistency of skinbusters is softer to penetrate deeper and gradually improve skin condition. This leaves it hydrated, full-bodied, with visible strength and shine.
Skinboosters are suitable for both women and men. They can be placed on younger skin as well as more mature skin. It all depends on the degree of loss of the hyaluronic acid naturally produced in the body.
The application of a skinbuster is a mildly painful, injectable procedure in which a very fine needle is used. Also suitable for removing puffiness under the eyes, on the chin – to restore contour. It can also be applied to the neck and décolleté area to tighten and remove the appearance of wrinkles and, of course, to the lip area for hydration and contouring. It is very suitable for people with dry skin and skin that has visibly enlarged pores or scars.
The safety and quality of the references applied must be guaranteed by your dermatologist. Esteline Dermatology Clinic works only with hyaluronic acid preparations that are officially registered for use in Bulgaria, clinically tested and with quality certificates.
What is the procedure?
The clinic’s dermatologist, trained and certified to work with the preparation, will prepare the patient for the procedure and strictly follow the established clinical protocol.
The specialist will outline with a marker the areas where he will inject the skinbuster. For greater comfort, it is possible to apply a numbing cream beforehand.
Depending on the areas treated, the injection procedure takes between 20 and 40 minutes.
What are the contraindications and side effects?
Therapy is not recommended for patients with epilepsy, prone to scarring and cicatrix development, hypersensitive to hyaluronic acid, pregnant or lactating women and children.
After the procedure, redness and swelling are observed at the puncture sites, which disappear within a few hours. Bruising may occur and resolve within 2 weeks. Very rarely, inflammation may be observed or seals may be felt for a longer time.
When does it occur and what is the duration of the effect?
The effect occurs immediately after the procedure, with the appearance of the skin visibly improving for 3 to 4 weeks.
Its duration depends on the physiological features and habits of the patient.
Depending on individual characteristics, hyaluronic acid degrades over 6 to 12 months. With each successive application of the product, the duration of the result achieved may be longer.

What is the recommended number and frequency of treatments?
To achieve a long-lasting result, it is desirable to do 3 treatments, one per month.
A follow-up single procedure to maintain the achieved result is recommended after 6 months.
