Botulinum toxin (Botox)
Botulinum toxin, better known as botox, has been in recent decades as one of the most effective non-surgical solutions for rejuvenating and refreshing the face and neck.
The apparent reduction and largely the elimination of wrinkles between the eyebrows, on the forehead, around the eyes („crow’s feet“) and lips, on the neck and the neckline make botox procedures popular and desirable from patients at a different age.
The aesthetic effect of botox injection is due to the principle action of the product – botulinum toxin partially blocks the contraction of certain groups of muscles on the face. This temporary relaxation of the muscles leads to smoothing the skin lines and wrinkles and preventing their appearance.
As a result, we achieve complete aesthetic improvement with visible reduction of the mimic wrinkles. and and refreshed look of the face.
Besides treating mimic wrinkles, the botulinum toxin can effectively suppress hyperhidrosis – a state of over-sweating provoked by food, heat or emotional factors. For this purpose, a higher dose of toxin is placed in the desired area, such as underarm, palms or feet.
The safety and quality of the injected products should be guaranteed by your dermatologist. Aestheline Dermatology Clinic works only with hyaluronic acid products that are officially registered for use in Bulgaria, clinically tested and with quality certificates. The clinic offers its patients the high quality Vistabel®, Dysport® products.
