Exilis body contouring

The BTL Exilis Elite body sculpting procedure combines radio frequency and ultrasound to tighten loose skin and eliminate cellulite and fat build-up.

BTL Exilis Elite is a combination of ultrasound and monopolar radio frequency for treating body imperfections.

The body applicator used in the procedure has exceptional power reaching the fat tissue to a depth of 2.5 cm and causing it to heat up, resulting in natural self-destruction of the fat cells. In addition, Exilis causes remodeling of existing collagen and synthesizing a new one. Thanks to this effect, in addition to the reduction of the circumference, skin tightening is also observed. When treating the body, the duration of the procedure and the force of action are determined by the thickness of the subcutaneous fat layer.

IMPORTANT

Specially trained and certified therapists guarantee the success of the procedure and its safety for the patient.

Aestheline Dermatology Clinic works with high-quality equipment from the leading aesthetics manufacturer BTL Aesthetics®.

Therapy proceeds in sequential treatment of selected problem areas, with a maximum number of treated areas of 6, each with an approximate area of 10 x 5 cm. Depending on the condition of the skin and the desired result, the therapist selects the treatment areas.

The procedure starts with cleaning the area and applying Exilis mineral oil. Using a special nozzle, the therapist circles the selected area. The applicator is high-tech and has a built-in thermometer that allows permanent monitoring of skin temperature. However, feedback is of great importance to the patient, who has to report if they experience excessive burning or pain. The duration of the procedure and the force of action are determined by the thickness of the subcutaneous fat layer. Depending on this, the duration of the procedure is between 10 and 20 minutes per zone.

Tell the therapist if a pacemaker or metal implants are in place. Therapy is contraindicated in pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as in patients with a bacterial or viral infection, in the area to be treated.

The Exilis procedure is safe and side effects are rare. Immediately after therapy, depending on the individual skin reaction, there is less or more redness, which lasts up to 2 hours. Very rarely, there may be single zones of more red flushing that pass through swelling.

The optimal effect of therapy is observed with the planned series of 4-6 procedures. The breakdown of fat cells and the formation of collagen is a slow process, and therefore the results of the therapy can be seen 6-8 weeks after.

The effect of the procedure lasts between 6-12 months, depending on the subsequent skin care.

Increased water intake (> 2 liters) is recommended to hydrate the skin as well as adjust the nutritional and motor regimes for lasting retention of the results.

The recommended number of procedures is between 4 and 6, which should be performed once a week. To maintain the result, it is desirable to repeat the next procedure on the 4th month. A maintenance procedure is done once or twice a year.
