Mesotherapy with vitamins – Spring cleaning of the skin

According to Chinese medicine, spring is the best season to do a detoxification program. This is the moment when our body “wakes up” and the energy in it is good to channel in a useful direction. We can use this surge of energy to restore balance and cleanse our bodies. There are many nutritional supplements and regimens for whole body detoxification, and the skin requires special attention.

What is the reason?

In the environment, our skin encounters free radicals that interact with healthy cells and damage them. Among the main sources of their formation are smoking, solar radiation, polluted air, as well as unstable molecules in some cosmetic products. They disrupt the DNA structure of cells, leading to premature aging. In addition, they can cause inflammation of the skin, and in the worst case, the appearance of malignant growths. Free radicals are like “poison” for our skin, so we need to purify and neutralize it.

Natural skin protectors

Cleansing the skin of free radicals can be achieved thanks to antioxidants, which have the power to interact with free radicals and neutralize them. Vitamin E, vitamin A, vitamin C, glutathione (a protein found in the liver) and melatonin (a hormone produced by the pineal gland) are considered the most effective representatives of this group.

Vitamin C is an excellent antioxidant that also protects other antioxidants, especially vitamin E. It also normalizes disorders in melanin synthesis in melanocytes and reduces pigmentation.

Vitamin E is a strong antioxidant, protecting lipids (fats) from oxidation. Since cell membranes consist of lipids, it prevents their destruction by free radicals. Vitamin E improves oxygen absorption and strengthens the immune response. To maintain the normal concentration of vitamin E, zinc is needed, and selenium improves its absorption.

Vitamin A, in addition to being a strong antioxidant, also helps fight skin aging by boosting collagen production and increasing skin density. Recommended in combination with vitamin C for even better results.

Glutathione is considered the most important antioxidant in the body, because it is found in cells and helps to increase the activity of many antioxidants or vitamins, as well as neutralizes some heavy metals and drugs.

The hormone melatonin is produced in the pineal gland located in the brain. In childhood, melatonin is produced in large quantities. Shortly before puberty, its production begins to decrease and with age it steadily decreases. Melatonin is the most effective antioxidant discovered to date because it can penetrate every part of the body.

Help from outside is not superfluous

Nowadays, the body’s self-production of antioxidants turns out to be insufficient, because the environment is highly polluted and its aggressive impact increases many times over. For a favorable influence on the processes related to the health and beauty of the skin, I recommend the use of products for local use, which will be a supportive and very effective protection against the daily accumulation of free radicals. However, there are periods when the skin is more exhausted and damaged, like after the cold winter, and needs an even stronger impact and support with the active ingredients in depth. In such a case, procedures for awakening the skin come to the rescue.

Rich food for the skin = long term result

Mesotherapy is among the most suitable procedures for awakening and stimulating the skin, due to the nature of penetration of the beneficial combinations of ingredients at the correct depth.

Mesotherapy is a painless, injectable procedure through which various active components are introduced into the middle layer of the skin (dermis). The selected product is distributed evenly over the entire face by making surface punctures with a depth of 1 mm, at a distance of about a centimeter from each other. This ensures the uniform “feeding” of the skin and the full absorption of all the ingredients of the product. This procedure allows deeper penetration of the active components to improve the structure and quality of the skin.

With a course of several mesotherapy procedures, an accumulation of the components necessary for the skin is achieved, and it is nourished, detoxified and refreshed for a long period.

Our proposal – a vitamin cocktail to wake up the skin

The antioxidant care mesotherapy cocktail we chose to use at Esteline contains the optimal combination of vitamin C, vitamin E and glutathione and is by Toskanicosmetics. This mesotherapy restores vitamin C and E levels in the skin, resulting in a more radiant and youthful appearance with an even complexion. Recommended for: skin photoaging, skin damaged by the environment, smokers, uneven complexion. For maximum results, it is desirable to do a course of 6 procedures.
